Everyone has their own idea how to define “home theater”. Some would say that a home theater is a big tv on their wall. Others would describe it as a room totally dedicated to watching video, with 7.1 surround sound and theater seating. Surround Sound
After the completion of a home theater system, with out fail the customer will ask something along these lines “why don’t I hear the speakers in the back?”. The reason for this is surround sound. What that means, in laymen’s terms, is that the sounds comes from the speaker that the movie director has decided it should at any given time. For example, when two people are having a conversation then the vast majority of the sound will come form the center channel speaker. Another would be when a plane flies from the right side off the screen to the left, the sounds moves from the right speaker to the the left.
There are several speaker layouts and formats of surrounds sound. The basic 5.1 speaker layout includes a center, right, left, back right, back left speakers, as well as some kind of sub woofer. The 7.1 includes two extra speakers located between the front and back speakers.
Home Networking
AAV offers a wide range of networking solutions for your home. Weather you need one network jack or wireless internet throughout your property we are the ones to call.
Wireless: In most cases today our customers want to be able to take their laptops anywhere in their house and go online. The problem with this is that most wireless roughts aren’t powerful enough to get the signal from one side of the house to the other. AAV will do a full sight survey and make a recommendation as to what’s the best way to get you signal where it counts.
Wired: Some people don’t like the idea of wireless. That’s fine AAV has a solution for you too. Depending on the wiring in your house AAV can put a wired ports throughout your home.
Security: Worried about someone breaking into your computer? AAV will encrypt your router with what ever type of security you want. We’ll even create a MAC address table so computers in the table will be able to connect.
